Good students, good speakers!
Another English-speaking contest was held in Iasi by the Moldavian Association of Teachers of English (MATE). It is a traditional competition already, and participation ranges from secondary students coming from the best schools in Iasi to students attending secondary schools in Bacau, Botosani, Vaslui. There are two sections in the contest, Impromptu Speech and Prepared Speech, in both of which our students from 10G and 10D
were awarded really good prizes (1 first prize – Alexandru Cimpanu, 10D; 1 second prize – Ioana Toporascu, 10G; 3 third prizes – Giorgiana Murariu,10G, Bianca Nicolescu and Dragos Batca, 10D).
